Carnegie Hall, 01/23/1945 : Bruno Walter conducts the Philharmonic-Symphony Orchestra of New York in the Symphony No.1 (In One Movement). "A synthethic treatment of the four-movements classical symphony", in Barber's own words :

The astonishing Finale of the Toccata Festiva for organ and orchestra (with an amazing pedal cadenza !), during its English premiere at the Royal Albert Hall of London in 2004. The solist is Simon Preston and Leonard Slatkin conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra for this Last Night of the Prom's.

A very moving performance of Dover Beach by the American baritone Christopher Herbert, accompanied by Michelle Abraham and Dawn Gingrich (violins), Tasha Clearman (viola) and Jillian Bloom (cello).

The Brandywine Singers, from West Chester, perform three choral works by Barber in a birthday-celebration concert (13th March 2010).

Three days after the 9/11/2001, during the last concert of the Londonian Prom’s, Leonard Slatkin and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra perform the Adagio for strings
in a tribute to the victims of the terrorist attacks.

The French Accentus Chorus, conducted by Laurence Equilbey, performs a very moving Agnus Dei, the choral transcription of the Adagio for Strings. The neon-tubes-and-concrete atmosphere is optional...

James Tocco plays the Ist, IIIrd and IVth movements of the Excursions for piano.
